Schoolyard Ventures provides innovative entrepreneurship education for ambitious teens. Our programs stretch far beyond classroom learning and guide students as they solve problems in the real world. We challenge students to adopt an entrepreneurial mindset—a problem-solving framework fueled by creativity and grit. Equipped with this mindset, students can more effectively create value for the world, not only in the short-term, but throughout their academic, career, and life pursuits.

In partnership with the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy and Practice and the Center for Social Impact Strategy, we run the Social Innovators Program. The Social Innovators Program is an eight-week virtual summer program where ambitious high school students learn how to launch social ventures of their own that create positive value in their communities. Participants gain hands-on entrepreneurship experience while earning a Certificate in Social Entrepreneurship.
