Description of Services : Bass Educational Services, LLC provides college, postsecondary, and gap year planning, executive function coaching, local school placements, and academic tutoring for students with learning differences, ADHD, ASD, and other special needs. Our educational consultants offer guidance and structure throughout the college and post-secondary planning process, provide assistance in gap year programming, and assist families in facilitating local K-12 school placements; our trained, experienced tutors provide in-home, one-on-one SAT/ACT test prep and subject tutoring. Additionally, we provide assistance in obtaining standardized test accommodations when appropriate.

Description of Experience : I have a background in Education, working in the classroom for 29 years, both in public and private schools. I am a Montessori trained teacher and taught my last 14 years in a Montessori School in upper elementary (6 years) and middle school (8 years). I worked with students with a variety of learning differences. 99% of the clients in my consulting practice are students who learn differently. I will work with siblings and relatives, but I refer out neurotypical students to other consultants in the DC area.
