The Pioneer Research Program is a selective program in which talented, intellectually motivated high school students participate in undergraduate-level research in one of 25 academic fields. Pioneer high school scholars work in small, international research cohorts and one-on-one with leading US-university faculty in advanced study and research of a topic of mutual interest. Their work culminates in a full-length research paper, an authoritative evaluation from their faculty mentor, and college academic credit. The program is conducted entirely online, enabling students from around the world to participate. Pioneer Academics is a Public Benefit Corporation which grants need-based financial support for research to approximately 20% of its high school research scholars.
