2024 Professional Development Institute

Join us for the HECA Professional Development Institute on June 9-10, 2024 from 8:00 am-5:00 pm at the Crowne Plaza Atlanta Perimeter at Ravinia in Atlanta, GA. 

This institute is conveniently hosted just before the HECA Conference (June 10-12, 2024) so you can attend the institute and stay for the conference. Both education and business topics are covered. All consultants are invited to attend, but especially those with 0-10 years of experience. Registration for the PDI is open to HECA members, provisional members and non-members.   

HECA's Professional Development Institute (PDI) provides you with the knowledge, skills and tools necessary to take your career as an IEC (Independent Educational Consultant) to the next level. Our interactive professional development training provides you with knowledge and resources necessary to ethically and effectively guide students. You'll learn practical business strategies to help you level up your business.

Participants receive a link to an electronic binder with resources from the institute. Participation in this workshop meets the new member orientation required of all new or prospective members. 

Notes:

• The Professional Development Institute is a separate registration from the conference. Additional Information for the HECA Conference is located here. Registration opens for non-members on March 14 at 1:00 pm ET.
• Housing is not included in this registration fee. When making your reservation at the Crowne Plaza Atlanta Perimeter at Ravinia please use the hotel reservation instructions in your confirmation email.
  
• Meals are on your own, except breakfast and lunch on June 9 & 10, which will be provided.
