HECA Education Abroad Specialty Spotlight - Creative UK

Description

We are eight, small, specialist creative, performing and visual arts universities located across the UK. Collectively we undertake promotional activity across the USA including exhibiting at the annual NACAC Conference each year. Five of the eight institutions also host a Creative UK counsellor fly-in tour.

During this information session we will introduce you to the broad range of creative courses and careers offered in the UK and why studying in the UK might be a great fit for students interested in these areas. We will discuss how to research "best fit" and how to best support your students through the application process, noting that this can be a very different process and timeline for creative subject areas. We will also discuss portfolio and audition requirements and how to best prepare for these. Finally we will provide you some practical tips and insights and a very brief introduction to each of our institutions.
