Learning Labs are virtual "roundtable" discussion groups focused on specific topics or areas of interest in educational consulting. Join a Learning Lab to share ideaslearn from other HECA members and advance the education consulting profession.

Learning Lab: Affordability Q&A 
The committee will have a hot-topic statement (5-7 minutes), giving attendees time to queue in their questions. The majority of the session is addressing any questions about the hot topic or anything else regarding affordability. Hot topics may include: Long range college funding plans, How to begin the conversation with families in Sophomore year, Using affordability for lead-generation, Reviewing current best practices, How to complete the FAFSA and CSS, Reviewing need based versus merit, How does building a college list impact family budget... to name a few.

Please join the Affordability Committee for a book club style open discussion of Dream School, by Jeff Selingo on January 15th, Noon, ET. Please read Part One (Introduction, Chapters1 and 2) and look for questions to ponder a few days ahead.
