How do you encourage students to realize they are enough? Have you noticed a generational shift (Gen X vs. Millennials vs. Gen Z)?

 UNPLUGGED HOSTS

Deb's Bio
Deb lives in Little Washington, NC, and has been an educator for 30+ years and an IEC for 6. She's taught every grade from pre-K through college except 9th (she really doesn't like Romeo and Juliet). She's the community co-chair for the Triangle IEC group, a regional coordinator for HECA, and the co-chair for HECA's Advocacy Committee. She's very involved with SACAC and is the college advisor for two schools in rural NC. Deb is deeply committed to efforts to improve our profession and transform the admissions process for all. She and her husband are empty-nesters and own an independent bookstore. Deb was a Princeton Tiger as an undergrad and received her Master's in English Literature from Temple University and spent many years teaching 12th grade and college English courses.

Pamela's Bio
Pamela has had the privilege of teaching in private, public, international (Saudi Arabia), charter, and home school settings. She was a college consultant in a public charter school before starting her own business in 2017. She has had the privilege of co-leading the Triangle Area Regional Group with Deb Ryan for the past two years.
