About
I am a dad, a Princeton grad and an elite college essay coach. I was a novelist, a professional writer and an entrepreneur. I'm based in New York City, and I work with students from all over the US.
The perspective I gained as a college football player, a software inventor and a creative artist has helped me relate to a wide range of young people.
Raising two daughters has taught me to put my heart into every conversation I have with students - and to really, actively, motivationally, listen to them.
Over the years, I have refined a process that allows me to quickly find the most valuable and connective stories that kids can tell in their college essays, and to coax writing from them that will blow your doors off.
And, most importantly, that will help them get into the college of their dreams.

Description of Services : I provide strategic guidance to college applicants and younger students, and calm, confident reassurance to their parents. I focus on identifying students' durable interests and foundational ambitions, and helping them maximize 'fit' when selecting colleges to which to apply. I offer the option of best-in-class essay coaching or full-service college counseling (which also includes my essay services).
