Description of Experience : I realize that my work history is likely outside that of the typical profile, but my training through the UCLA College Counseling Certificate program is comprehensive, and that training complemented my previous learning and practical experience of over 10 years while assisting my own children and other students and their families through the college process. To fulfill the requirements of the UCLA Certificate program, I completed my Practicum at Tokay High School, a large public high school in our community with a diverse student population. This allowed me to gain experience working with a broad spectrum of students with unique and distinct needs.
