Description of Services : Kathy Noble provides comprehensive college consulting services that help students gain clarity and confidence while at the same time reducing stress and anxiety for parents.
Kathy is committed to helping students find their best fit college as well as raising their self-awareness through the process. Each student she works with has a story to tell. In working together, students articulate an application narrative that highlights their strengths and values. These storytelling skills are critical in the college admissions process, but also are life skills that will help long after college.
Kathy earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, an M.B.A from the University of Notre Dame and a Certificate of College Counseling with distinction from UCLA. Being committed to helping students reach their potential, she then went on to earn a Leadership Coaching Certificate from Northwestern University’s School of Education and Social Policy.
Kathy is fully committed to professional development through her attendance at the Harvard Summer Institute on College Admissions and various conferences. She has also presented seminars on navigating the admissions process for high school counselors, parents and students and has spent countless hours coaching students in the application process.
Kathy offers a free 30-minute in person consultation to answer any questions and help potential clients better understand the benefits of working with an independent educational consultant.
Description of Experience : I am a trusted advisor for students and their families. I typically work with students on a 1:1 basis throughout the entire college admissions process. However, I have also volunteered my time with Horizons Upward Bound in the Detroit Metro area as well as have spent almost two years volunteering as a member of the Joyce Ivy Foundation. Through the Joyce Ivy Foundation, I have served as a member of the yearly College Admissions Symposium and held various faculty speaker positions at the yearly events. Both Joyce Ivy and HUB exist to help underserved students become more familiar with college admissions. Being a first first student myself, I am very dedicated to helping others navigate the process.
