About
Susan Toler Carr, PE, is an Independent College Counselor. She also has a College and Career Counseling Certificate from UC San Diego. Susan holds a Civil Engineering degree and a Certificate in Business Management Effectiveness from the University of Southern California. She has a Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license in California, Arizona, and Florida. Her purpose is to give counseling and mentoring guidance to students as they embark on this exciting— sometimes stressful — journey. She encourages students to be their best selves working with them to produce the best college applications ahead of deadlines and without drama. She guides them in their college search, choice of major, application, essays, interviews, and career. Her focus is passion versus prestige. She has conducted workshops at schools and conferences internationally and throughout the country about the pressures and stressors facing our society and the importance of mental health awareness.
