It is a privilege to work with high schoolers as they experience this important life chapter. Whether a student is interested in STEM, humanities, business, or still exploring, I help them articulate their strengths, discover opportunities, and plan their next steps. As students develop their balanced college lists and application content, I love seeing their confidence build as they hone foundational skills they’ll use well beyond their college years.

My business background, which includes 15+ years on diverse, global, cross-disciplinary teams and consulting locally with startups and nonprofits, has given me an understanding of various pathways to a successful career. Travel for work and fun has allowed me to experience different parts of the US and the world, giving me insight to share with students researching faraway cities and campuses. My love of writing and strategic communications background at Microsoft helps me guide students toward meaningful personal statements and compelling essays.

I majored in marketing and finance at the University of Oregon and earned an MBA from the University of Washington, as well as a Certificate in College Counseling with distinction from UCLA. I love to travel so much that I actually studied abroad twice. My husband and raised our kids in Palo Alto and now live in Seattle with our labradoodle where we enjoy ample scenic dog walks and hikes as well as reading, kayaking, pickleball, and keeping up with friends and family.
