Description of Experience : I work with high school students from freshman - senior year. As freshman and sophomores, I work on course selection, summer planning and personality assessments to identify interests. In junior year we continue with course selection and summer planning and add college research, list building, identifying potential majors, letters of recommendation. The summer before senior year we set a timeline and schedule, brainstorm and edit essays, hone the college list and create an activities resume. As senior year begins I work with students on completing applications, finalizing essays, applying for scholarships, understanding financial aid and making the final decision.
