Description of Services : My passion is for working with students with a range of talents, interests and challenges, and their families to navigate the education systems and provide personal guidance through the college planning and admissions process with the ultimate goal of graduation. From planning students' high school course load, providing student-based assessments, identifying 'best-fit' college matches, and guiding the entire college application process with special attention to stellar essays that highlight students' greatest assets and help them discover their personal narrative, we work together to make the college admissions process as fun and as stress free as possible.

With a PhD and three decades working in education and special education research and policy with a focus on the transition from youth to adult life my practice includes students of varied backgrounds, and across the spectrum from those with neuro-developmental and learning challenges to students who are academically gifted.
I specialize in Essay development and coaching, assessments and college selection, and personalized guidance through the entire college admissions process.
My presentations on postsecondary outcomes and college planning for students with disabilities, based on 10 years of longitudinal data were accepted three years in a row for the NACAC conferences in New Orleans, Denver, and Toronto. In addition, I have presented on this topic from a research perspective for a wide range of organizations (e.g., CEC, McArthur Foundation, Federal Department of Education-Office of Special Education Programs, and many others), and authored/co-authored more than 75 publications including book chapters, project-based reports, and articles in peer-review journals.
