With over 20 years of college counseling experience, Sharmon believes that college fit makes all the difference. She is the longtime Director of a College Access Program at a Southern California non-profit organization, and also works with select private clients. Through this work, Sharmon partners with a regional network of college access organizations and has helped build a community of support and advocacy for these organizations and their high school scholars. She currently serves as Chair of the network’s Steering Committee and is also a member of the Bates College Advisory Board.
Sharmon is a graduate of Franklin & Marshall College and lives in Los Angeles with her husband, two children, and dog.
