The Competitive Edge nurtures students and families through the college admission process. Our goal is to find a college where the student will flourish both academically, socially and in pursuit of the next step—Career. As such, in addition to helping students formulate balanced college lists, write authentic, compelling, and well-crafted essays, and preparing for college and scholarship interviews, we also help students to unearth their interests. This process of helping students identify a few potential majors before they enter college can help students graduate on time, saving thousands of dollars of education dollars. We also help families navigate the financial aid process, explaining ways to find Merit Scholarships even if they do not qualify for Financial Aid. Whether working in person or over Skype, we also help students with Resume development, Curriculum choice and choosing meaningful summer opportunities that will reflect what colleges want to see most—Intellectual Vitality.
