HECA College Knowledge Major Talks: Public Policy

Monday, April 27, 2026 (1:00 PM - 2:00 PM) (EDT)

Description

Join us for an in-depth exploration of Public Policy as a college major and career pathway. Discover ways to support your students in developing the interests and skills that might lead to Public Policy and other related fields of study and hands-on opportunities to explore outside of the classroom.

During this webinar, we will learn from a graduate student’s personal experiences that paved her way from high school to grad school. An academic advisor from the UW-Seattle’s Evans School of Public Policy and professor of public policy from Syracuse’s Maxwell School of Public Affairs will provide a detailed overview of the undergraduate public policy opportunities at their respective institutions and provide insights on career pathways to enrich our work with our students.
